Whats JAICAF aims to accomplish

The Japan Association for International Collaboration of Agriculture and Forestry (JAICAF) was reorganized as an incorporated body in April 2007, by integrating two precedent organizations, namely, the Japan Association for International Collaboration of Agriculture and Forestry (JAICAF) and the FAO Association. It is a non-profit organization under the joint jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. JAICAF aims to contribute to the development of the global society, by the commitment to activities in the following areas: the promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and foreign countries in the domains of food and agriculture: the activities to facilitate the smooth and effective implementation of international collaboration in agriculture and forestry: the emergency food assistance.
